just a simple hobo stove cook kit I;ve been using to boil water, and to make char cloth and such easy to pack and just plain classic fun...I'll take pics of it lit next time I'm out here it is packed up The simple components Here it is ready to boil

Nice little setup RR. Personally, I don't like my cups and cooking gear getting covered with soot (messes up my pack) so I experimented awhile back with methods to eliminate the soot (seen HERE)
Anymore, though, I can't be bothered messing around with cooking food (don't like any hot drinks) when I'm out. I prefer to spend my time checking out plants, making traps, etc. We don't take breaks during the day, something TonyM bitched about when he was up here. Even if I wanted to, I get so engrossed in what I'm doing, that I forget.

I read you loud and clear doc most of the woods time I get lately is to valuable to waste time making coffee..but every now and than you just need a cup...the stove is also usefull in quickly maing charcloth without the hassle of a full on fire
